The Ministry of Public Administration has clarified that it has not issued any directive to change government office hours or to operate offices three days a week to save electricity and fuel.
The clarification came Thursday after a fake notice dated 1 April 2026, began circulating on social media, falsely claiming that office schedules were being reduced to three days a week.
In an official statement, the ministry confirmed no such order exists and urged people not to be misled by false information.
