Croatia have confirmed their 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as Zlatko Dalic prepares his team for another shot at global success.
Veteran captain Luka Modric leads the squad once again. The 40-year-old remains Croatia’s key figure as the nation heads into its seventh World Cup appearance.
Croatia finished runners-up in 2018 and secured third place in the last World Cup. They now hope to build on that strong record in North America.
The squad also includes experienced names like Ivan Perisic, Andrej Kramaric and Mario Pasalic. Defender Josko Gvardiol is fit in time for the tournament after recovering from injury.
Croatia qualified in dominant style. They won seven of eight matches and topped their group with 26 goals scored and only four conceded.
They booked their World Cup place with a 3-1 win over the Faroe Islands in Rijeka in November 2025.
Croatia will play in Group L.
They begin against England on June 17 in Arlington. They then face Panama on June 23 in Toronto before taking on Ghana on June 27 in Philadelphia.
