Modhumoti Bank PLC has signed a Credit Guarantee Agreement with Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) to avail credit guarantee services under Credit Enhancement Scheme (CES).
The signing ceremony was held at PKSF Bhaban-1, Agargaon, Dhaka, on Monday. The event was chaired by Md Fazlul Kader, managing director of PKSF.
Md Shafiul Azam, managing director & CEO of Modhumoti Bank PLC, and Md Hasan Khaled, deputy managing director of PKSF, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under this agreement, Modhumoti Bank will be enabled to extend credit facilities to the CES-enlisted Partner Organisations (POs) of PKSF. PKSF will provide a credit guarantee for the credit facilities extended by the bank to enlisted Microfinance Institutions (MFIs).
Also present at the ceremony were Deputy Managing Director & CBO Arab Fazlur Rahman, Head of CMSME Business Support Zahid Al Muntasir, and Head of CMSME Business Abu Mohammad Zahed of Modhumoti Bank PLC.
