Midland Bank PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding with Concord Diagnostics & Molecular Lab BD Ltd and EW Villa Medica Bangladesh to offer discounted healthcare services to customers, cardholders, employees and their dependents, the bank said in a press release. The agreement was signed at the bank’s head office in Dhaka by Imtiaz U Ahmed, managing director and chief executive officer of Midland Bank, and Md Faizur Rahman, chairman and managing director of Concord Diagnostics & Molecular Lab BD Ltd, EW Villa Medica Bangladesh and Noapara Group.
Under the agreement, customers and employees will receive preferential discounts on diagnostic testing, molecular testing, radiology, preventive healthcare, wellness treatments and other medical services from the two partner organisations, the statement added.
Key attendees from Midland Bank included Md Zahid Hossain, deputy managing director and chief risk officer. Representing Concord Diagnostics & Molecular Lab BD Ltd and EW Villa Medica Bangladesh was Faiaz Ibne Rahman, group director of Concord Healthcare Group and Noapara Group, alongside other senior officials from both organisations. Officials from both sides expressed optimism that the partnership would enhance access to quality healthcare services, creating greater value and convenience for the bank’s customers and employees.
