Met office on Wednesday foresees light to moderate rain or thunder showers in various parts of the country.
The showers are expected to be accompanied by lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind, while the temperature during the day may rise while night temperatures will remain unchanged all over the country.
Several areas over Dhaka division, as well as a minimum of one or two places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions will experience light to moderate showers, whereas, the situation may take a turn to moderately heavy to heavy falls over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
Over the next five days, southwest monsoon may advance up to Teknaf Coast.
