Meghna Bank PLC held its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) last Thursday at Madona Tower in Mohakhali.
The meeting was chaired by the bank’s Chairperson, Uzma Chowdhury, reads a press release.
Among those present were Tanveer Ahmed, chairman of the Executive Committee; Md Ali Akther Rezvi, FCA, chairman of the Audit Committee; and Mohammad Mamunul Hoque, chairman of the Risk Management Committee.
The bank’s Independent Directors Rajab Ali, M Nazrul Islam and Habibur Rahman also attended the meeting, along with Managing Director Syed Mizanur Rahman, Company Secretary Md Jasim Uddin, FCS, and the bank’s shareholders.
During the meeting, Meghna Bank reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing banking services, promoting financial inclusion, contributing to the country’s economic development and achieving sustainable growth.
