The government has appointed Md Maniruzzaman Miah, an additional secretary at the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, as the new divisional commissioner of Dhaka.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.
Maniruzzaman replaced Sharf Uddin Ahmed Choudhury, who was promoted to the rank of secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute on 17 June.
