Lucas Digne has returned to Paris Saint-Germain, completing a second spell at the French champions with a contract that runs until 2029.
The 33-year-old left-back has signed a three-year deal and will wear the No. 12 shirt. His return brings an experienced defender back to the club where he began his rise to the top of European football.
Digne first joined PSG from Lille in 2013. He spent two seasons in Paris, making 44 appearances and providing five assists.
He also collected a major haul of domestic honours during that spell. Digne won two Ligue 1 titles, one Coupe de France, two Coupe de la Ligue trophies and three Trophée des Champions.
He left PSG for Roma in 2015 before moving to Barcelona a year later. His time at the Catalan club brought further silverware, including a LaLiga title, two Copa del Rey trophies and a Spanish Super Cup.
Digne then built his reputation in England. He made 127 appearances for Everton before joining Aston Villa in January 2022.
The Frenchman became an important figure at Villa Park. He made 182 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing 24 assists. He also helped Villa win the Europa League in 2026.
His international career has added another layer to his experience. Digne has won 64 caps for France and helped the country win the UEFA Nations League in 2021. He also played at the 2014 and 2026 World Cups and Euro 2016.
Across his club career, Digne has made 503 appearances, scored 18 goals and supplied 59 assists. He has also played 57 matches in European competition.
