Love can be life’s most beautiful gift, or a wound covered with a trail of sighs that never heals. Some relationships fade with time, yet the affection remains. Popular singer Kazi Shuvo captures these emotions of love, longing and separation in his latest song, ‘Bhul Koirachi Bhalobashia’.
The song is penned and composed by the late Baul mystic Pagol Hasan, who died prematurely. Dhruba Music Station (DMS) has released the track, with Kazi Shuvo on vocals and Rafi Mohammad behind the musical arrangement.
Directed by Farhan Ahmed Rafat, Shadab Hashmi and Masuma Mahamuda Tan appear in the music video, which tells a story of love and separation. Kazi Shuvo also makes a brief appearance in the music video.
Speaking about the song, Kazi Shuvo said, “I have a special fondness and affection for the songs of the late Pagol Hasan. I had picked up this song while Pagol Hasan was still alive. Later, I included it in my digital audio album, ‘Keu Bujhlo Na’. The lyrics capture the anguish of love and the sorrow of separation. I hope the song will leave a deep impression on listeners.”
Dhruba Music Station (DMS) said listeners can stream the song on its YouTube channel and other music platforms, both in Bangladesh and internationally.
