A playful moment between Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas and actor-model Adnan Azad has caught social media attention after a video showed him suddenly kissing her during a staged mehendi ceremony.

The clip, which circulated widely on Saturday, shows the two dressed as a bride and groom. As Adnan applies mehendi to Apu’s hands, they exchange playful remarks. He then unexpectedly kisses her, prompting the actress to smile shyly.

The romantic moment sparked curiosity about Adnan’s identity and the nature of their relationship. However, the video was part of a promotional shoot, and the kiss was deliberately staged to generate discussion.

The video followed a series of romantic photographs that Apu shared with Adnan on 15 October, which had already fuelled speculation among fans.

The two actors have known each other for nearly 18 years. They previously appeared together in Pashaner Prem, an Impress Telefilm production directed by Gazi Mazharul Anwar. The film marked Adnan’s debut as a leading actor.

While Apu later rose to prominence through her pairing with Shakib Khan, Adnan continued working in acting and modelling but did not establish a regular presence in films.

Apu recently revealed that she and Adnan were also discussing plans for a new film. She said Adnan wanted to make a major production with a skilled crew from abroad, and they had already begun discussing the possibility.
