A life-changing health crisis prompted television actor Hina Khan to make a spontaneous decision about her future with longtime partner Rocky Jaiswal.
According to Hindustan Times, the couple tied the knot in less than 15 minutes while she was undergoing treatment for stage 3 breast cancer.
Speaking to former tennis player Sania Mirza on her new show, Hina revealed that their wedding on June 4, 2025, was never part of a detailed plan. Instead, uncertainty about her health pushed them to formalise their relationship after more than 13 years together.
Recalling the moment, Hina said she told Rocky that he could either move on and marry someone else or marry her, as she did not know what the future held. Rocky agreed without hesitation.
When Sania asked whether the ceremony had taken just 15 minutes, Hina clarified that it had taken even less time. She described the decision as spontaneous, explaining that her health condition made her confront the uncertainty of life.
Hina and Rocky first met on the sets of the television series ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, where she played Akshara and he worked as a producer. Their friendship gradually developed into a relationship, which they made public in 2017.
The couple married in an intimate ceremony on the terrace of their Mumbai home. Sharing photographs afterwards, Hina described their union as a bond built on love despite coming from different worlds.
Rocky has remained a source of support for the actor throughout her battle with breast cancer.
