Kay & Que (Bangladesh) Limited has signed an agreement with Grameenphone Ltd to launch direct operator billing for digital voucher sales, aiming to expand revenue streams and tap growing demand for global content.

The listed company said in a regulatory disclosure the service will allow customers to purchase international digital vouchers, including platforms such as Netflix USA and Google Pay, using Grameenphone’s billing system.

The move is expected to simplify payments and widen access to digital services for local users.

Kay & Que said the partnership could boost revenue through higher digital transactions and broader service offerings.

Market observers see the initiative as part of efforts to diversify income sources, as demand rises for digital payments and global content in Bangladesh’s telecom-driven ecosystem.

Kay & Que shares, with a face value of Tk10, fell 0.92 per cent to Tk471.70 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.
