A new song titled ‘Akash Amar Ghor’ by popular singer Mahtim Shakib is set to be released, marking the occasion of Pahela Boishakh.
The track has been written by Tanbir Sajib and composed by Joy Shahriar. The song is being released under the banner of Aajob Records.
The track will premiere on April 14, coinciding with Pahela Boishakh, on Joy Shahriar’s official YouTube channel. An animated music video for the song has been created by Mir Hisham and produced by Aajob Factory.
Speaking about the release, Mahtim Shakib said he was delighted to collaborate again with Joy Shahriar after a long gap, describing him as one of his favourite musicians. He expressed optimism that audiences would connect with the song.
Joy Shahriar, in turn, praised Mahtim as a vocalist he deeply admires, noting a distinct emotional quality in his voice that he aimed to capture through the composition.
Lyricist Tanbir Sajib said the phrase ‘Akash Amar Ghor’ is among his personal favourites, adding that Joy Shahriar’s composition has elevated the lyrics, while Mahtim Shakib’s voice has brought them to life.
In addition to YouTube, the song will be available across major global streaming platforms from April 14, 2026.
