Two individuals detained with Tk15 lakh in a vehicle used by BNP candidate for Lakshmipur-3 constituency Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee for his electoral campaign have been released after the joint forces conducted a thorough verification.
The money, which had been initially seized by security forces, was confirmed to be related to the detainees’ business transactions.
After proper scrutiny, the joint forces determined the funds were legitimate, leading to the release of the individuals.
