National award-winning lyricist Robiul Islam Jibon is once again bringing his music to the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2026. Known for his iconic song “Jole Otho Bangladesh”, Jibon has long energised cricket fans across the country.
This year, he wrote theme songs for Silhet Titans and Rajshahi Warriors. Rajshahi’s anthem, “Jite Li Be,” features vocals by Samyabrat Dripto and Moumita Tashrin Nodi. Naved Parvez composed the music. Fans hear the song in the stadium during matches. The team also shared it on their official Facebook page.
For Silhet Titans, Jibon not only wrote the lyrics but also collaborated with Imran Mahmudul for singing. Sifat Abdullah Abir added a special rap segment. The anthem plays at every Silhet match.
Jibon shared his excitement, saying, “I am a cricket fanatic. Whenever I get free time, I rush to the stadium. Writing songs about cricket has always brought me joy. I am thrilled to work with Rajshahi Warriors and Silhet Titans this season.”
Throughout his career, Jibon has written over two dozen cricket-themed songs. His most popular include “Joy Hobei Hobe,” “Mashrafi,” and “Lorbe Ebar Bangladesh.” He has also written theme songs for Dhaka Platoon, Minister Dhaka, Silhet Sixers, Rangpur Riders, Rajshahi Royals, and Minister Rajshahi.
With each anthem, he connects cricket and music. Fans cheer louder, stadiums feel alive, and online audiences celebrate his compositions. Once again, Jibon proves he is at the heart of Bangladesh cricket culture.
