Janata Bank PLC held its Khulna Divisional Branch Managers’ Conference on Wednesday, 20 May. The event was attended by Fazlur Rahman, Chairman of the bank, who participated as the chief guest, the bank said in a press release.
The conference was chaired by Abul Kalam Azad, General Manager-in-Charge of the Khulna Divisional Office. Md Mojibur Rahman, Managing Director, addressed the participants as a special guest. Also present were Kazi Abdur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, and Mohammad Safayet Hossain, General Manager of the Head Office, who attended as special guests.
Branch managers from the Khulna Divisional Office, area offices, and all subordinate branches attended the conference.
During the event, Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman provided guidance to the branch managers on enhancing customer service, increasing deposit flows, and improving classified loan collection under current market conditions, the statement said.
The conference aimed to strengthen coordination among the divisional branches and ensure effective implementation of the bank’s operational and service objectives in the Khulna region.
