The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced on Thursday that more than 40 Hezbollah militants were killed during air, sea, and ground operations in southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours.

According to a military statement, the IDF targeted dozens of “terror” infrastructure sites. The Israeli air force struck various targets, including numerous headquarters, weapons storage facilities, launch sites, and anti-tank missile positions, reports Xinhua news agency.

The IDF further reported that the Israeli navy carried out a precise strike on a Hezbollah weapons storage facility. During ground maneuvers, troops eliminated a militant cell and struck three armed individuals travelling on motorcycles.

Additionally, Israeli soldiers dismantled dozens of infrastructure sites, such as observation posts, underground hideouts, and anti-tank missile launch positions. A significant quantity of weapons was also seized during these operations.
