International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, and Prime Bank have discussed to pursue joint ventures on trade facilities, foreign exchange liquidity frameworks and sustainable financing programmes in the region, following a meeting between the organisations’ leadership.
ITFC Chief Executive Officer Adeeb Yousuf Al Aama visited Prime Bank’s corporate head office in Dhaka on Tuesday as part of an official high-level IsDB-ITFC mission to Bangladesh, said a press release.
The delegation held strategic discussions with Prime Bank CEO Faisal Rahman and senior management on expanding cross-border trade finance solutions and exploring collaborative avenues to support Bangladesh’s key trade and economic sectors.
Both institutions expressed optimism regarding future collaborations, aiming to joint-venture on trade facilities, foreign exchange liquidity frameworks and sustainable financing programmes in the region.
