Users of gpay, a digital mobile wallet in Bangladesh created by Shamadhan Services Ltd, can now make payments for challans, charges and fees of various public and private institutions through Sonali Payment Gateway following the integration of the digital wallet with the state-owned bank’s payment platform.
An agreement in this regard was signed at a programme held at Sonali Bank’s head office conference room. Sonali Bank General Manager Aklima Islam and Shamadhan Services Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui signed and exchanged the documents in the presence of Sonali Bank Deputy Managing Director Rafiqul Islam. Deputy General Manager Mohammad Aslam Hossain and officials from both organisations were present on the occasion.
