An official from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that the country has the capacity to sustain the current scale and intensity of fighting for “at least” six more months.

According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, IRGC spokesperson Ali Mohammad Naini said, “The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have the ability to continue this intense war, at the present pace, for at least six months.”

AFP reported that Naini’s remarks directly contradict recent assessments by US President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly insisted that the joint US-Israeli campaign against Iran has been highly successful.

Earlier this week, Trump declared, “We are winning this war by a wide margin. We have crushed their entire ‘evil empire.’”

The IRGC is considered one of Iran’s most powerful and influential institutions. Beyond its military and intelligence operations, the corps also exerts significant influence in politics, education, and the economy.
