The Independence Award 2026 ceremony has been rescheduled to April 16, 2026, due to unforeseen circumstances, as confirmed in an official announcement.
Originally scheduled for 9 April at 4pm, the prestigious event will now take place at the same time and location—the Osmani Memorial Auditorium.
Authorities have clarified that no new invitation cards will be issued for the revised date. Individuals who have already received invitations for the 9 April ceremony are kindly requested to attend on April 16 using their existing invitations.
The Independence Award is the highest state honor, recognising exceptional contributions to the country across various fields.
