Two Pakistan players have been sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for breaching the code of conduct during the India–Pakistan Super Four clash in Dubai on 21 september.
Following a hearing conducted by the ICC, both Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan were found guilty of Level 1 offences.
Cricbuzz reports that Rauf was fined part of his match fee for an on-field act in which he mimicked a crashing plane. He was also issued a strong reprimand for bringing the game into disrepute.
Farhan, who scored 58 off 45 balls in Pakistan’s six-wicket defeat, celebrated his half-century by wielding his bat like a gun. The opener was handed an official reprimand by the match referee for the gesture.
