Harry Styles made a spectacular return to the BRIT Awards stage on Saturday night, delivering the live debut of his new single, ‘Aperture’, almost three years after his last performance. The show marked the first major appearance of Styles’ ‘Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally’ era.
The performance kicked off with a humorous skit featuring host Jack Whitehall at a barbershop, reading about Styles’ 2023 hiatus from music. Whitehall then imagined encountering Styles in various quirky scenarios, from spotting him jogging to hugging his wax figure at Madame Tussauds, before finally arriving at the BRIT Awards just in time for the live debut.
Styles performed Aperture atop a set of bleachers, accompanied by dancers in black shades and T-shirts featuring snails. Dressed in high-waisted trousers and a shirt with a tie, he led the choreography, moving through the stage to join a backing band and gospel singers. The finale saw his dancers surrounding him in synchronised motion, creating a dynamic and visually striking climax.
The single, released on January 22, debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. Styles’ forthcoming fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, is set for release on March 6 and promises a synthesiser-heavy sound influenced by LCD Soundsystem and his time living in Berlin.
Following the album launch, Styles will perform a one-night-only show at Manchester’s Co-op Live on March 6, before embarking on his global ‘Together, Together’ tour. The tour kicks off on May 16 in Amsterdam and includes multi-night residencies in seven cities, with highlights including 12 shows at London’s Wembley Stadium, six in Mexico City and 30 nights at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Styles is also scheduled to host and perform as musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 14, marking his second time pulling double duty on the NBC sketch show. Additionally, he will headline Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre from June 11 to 21, where he will serve as curator and performer.
The 2026 BRIT Awards, held at Manchester’s Co-op Live, celebrate the best in British music. Olivia Dean and Lola Young lead this year’s nominations with five each.
Styles, a familiar face at the ceremony, last performed at the 2023 BRITs, taking home four awards for ‘Harry’s House’.
