Leicester City are facing a growing injury crisis, and the biggest worry surrounds Hamza Choudhury.

The vice captain suffered a knee injury during the match against Charlton Athletic. He left the stadium on crutches, raising fears inside the club. Choudhury will undergo scans this week. Leicester are already preparing for the possibility of a long spell on the sidelines.

Interim manager Andy King admitted the signs were not good. He said he saw Choudhury wearing a knee brace after the game. He also said it does not look like a quick recovery.

Choudhury’s injury has left a big hole in midfield. His absence comes at a bad time for Leicester City, who are already short on options. Jordan James and Aaron Ramsey are both out with hamstring injuries. Neither is expected to return before March.

There is some relief, though. Oliver Skipp is close to fitness and could return this weekend. Still, the loss of Choudhury remains the main concern due to his role, leadership, and experience.

Leicester’s problems are not limited to midfield. Defensive options are also stretched. Jannik Vestergaard is being managed on a daily basis. Caleb Okoli is unavailable due to suspension. The pressure on the squad continues to grow.

For now, the club waits on Choudhury’s scan results. His condition will shape Leicester’s plans in the weeks ahead. If the injury is serious, the Foxes may have to cope without one of their most reliable players for a long period.
