Guardian Life Insurance Limited has declared a policy bonus of Tk63 per Tk1,000 sum assured for its eligible life insurance policyholders for the year 2025.
In life insurance, a policy bonus represents an earned profit that an insurance company may provide to its policyholders, generally based on the company’s profits. Policyholders receive this extra amount as a share of the company’s profits on top of the regular benefits of the policy, reads a press release.
Guided by its “Customer First” philosophy, Guardian declared its first policy bonus in 2016. Since then, the company has consistently provided annual bonuses to all eligible policyholders to add to the long-term value of customers’ savings and strengthen their future financial planning.
Retail policyholders can check their accumulated bonus amount at any time, from anywhere, through the Guardian Life app.
Currently, more than 13 million people across Bangladesh are covered under Guardian’s comprehensive insurance protection. The company also serves over 500 corporate clients and provides cashless healthcare services to policyholders through partnerships with more than 500 hospitals nationwide.
Guardian remains committed to strengthening trust and financial inclusion in Bangladesh’s life insurance sector by ensuring customers’ financial security and delivering accessible, technology-driven insurance services.
