The government has approved Tk1crore for the construction of a residence for the family of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho.
The allocation was approved on Tuesday by the Ministry of Finance, following a formal request from the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.
He was first treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and then transferred to Evercare Hospital.
As his condition worsened, he was airlifted to Singapore on 15 December for advanced treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries on 18 December, a week after the attack.
