Gold Kinen has received an honourable mention as Best Retail Startup of the Year at the Bangladesh Retail Awards 2026, marking three years since its commercial launch.
The recognition was announced at an event in Dhaka organised by Bangladesh Brand Forum under its Bangladesh Retail Forum initiative, the company said in a press release.
The app allows users to start saving from Tk500 at official market prices, aiming to widen access to gold-based savings.
Since launching in April 2023, the platform has expanded nationwide with features such as real-time pricing, insured vault storage, and doorstep delivery of gold.
It now serves nearly 4 lakh users, offering access to 22-carat hallmarked gold bars and coins through a mobile platform.
“This recognition reflects our commitment to building a trusted and transparent platform for gold saving,” the founders said.
They added that support from users and partners continues to drive its growth.
