A delegation from the Embassy of France in Dhaka, led by Ambassador Jean‑Marc Séré‑Charlet, paid a courtesy visit to the offices of the National Citizen Party (NCP) on Thursday, according to a press release.
The ambassador was accompanied by Christian BEC, political counsellor of the French Embassy.
Representing the NCP at the meeting were International Affairs Cell Lead Secretary Sultan Mohammed Zakaria, Co-Lead Alauddin Mohammad, and Coordinator of the Europe Desk Navid Nowroz Shah.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the longstanding diplomatic relations between the two countries, the current political situation in Bangladesh, and perspectives on the upcoming national election.
