Four students from Bangladesh Maritime University (BMU) have been awarded fully funded scholarships under the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) scholarship programme to pursue higher education in Naval Architecture at Changwon National University in South Korea.
The students were selected through a rigorous selection process under the KOICA scholarship programme, which awarded scholarships to five Bangladeshi students this year, according to a BMU press release.
The four BMU students are Tanoy Chandra Bhowmick, Md Mynul Islam, Sangita Das and Ayon Paul.
They will continue their academic journey in Naval Architecture at Changwon National University, focusing on advanced studies in the field.
BMU congratulated the students on their achievement and wished them success in their future academic pursuits.
The KOICA scholarship programme provides opportunities for students from partner countries to pursue higher education and develop expertise in areas relevant to national development.
