The fire that broke out at NRN Spinning Mill in Narsingdi on Saturday night was brought under control after seven and a half hours.
The blaze was first reported to the fire service around 10pm.
Firefighters rushed to the scene in Dakkhin Shilmundi and brought the blaze under control around 5:30am on Sunday.
A total of eight units from Narsingdi town, Madhabdi, Palash, Monohardi, and Shibpur fire stations worked to contain the flames.
No casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire and the extent of damage have yet to be determined and will be confirmed after investigation.
Firefighting operations are still ongoing.
