A new Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based digital legal platform “Find My Advocate” has been launched, aiming to make access to legal services in Bangladesh faster and more convenient.
The platform allows users to connect with experienced lawyers across the country from home, offering quicker access to legal assistance, according to a statement.
Positioned as a technology-driven bridge between justice seekers and lawyers, it helps users identify suitable legal professionals based on the nature of their problems while also enabling them to obtain preliminary advice without the usual delays.
At the core of the platform is an AI-driven search and chat system that analyses user queries and automatically suggests lawyers with relevant expertise, reducing the time and complexity involved in finding the right counsel.
Alongside this, an AI Legal Assistant provides preliminary legal information and guidance around the clock, allowing users to resolve common queries without visiting a lawyer’s chamber.
The platform hosts a growing database of registered lawyers from districts across the country, covering services such as civil, criminal, tax and value-added tax, cybercrime, deed writing, and marriage and divorce registration.
Detailed profiles, including experience, workplace, and areas of expertise, are also available, enabling users to make informed choices when selecting legal support.
“Getting legal assistance in Bangladesh is often complicated and time-consuming, and people have to visit chambers multiple times and wait for appointments,” said Supreme Court lawyer and Founder Md Haider Tanviruzzaman.
“To ease this process and reduce harassment, we have launched this digital platform,” he added.
He said the initiative is being run as a startup, with Co-founder Saifur Rahman Mahin overseeing grassroots activities and coordinating operations to ensure services reach users efficiently.
Operational responsibilities are being handled by Chief Operating Officer Kazi Md Khaled Bin Asad Abhi, while Admin Saidul Arefin and legal advisors Advocate Oliur Rahman, Advocate Raihan Kabir, Advocate Mohammad Sohag, and Barrister Tasmia Anjum are supporting outreach efforts.
The platform is powered by Sytex AI technology developed by Bangladeshi technologist Ihan Chowdhury, enabling rapid analysis of legal queries and matching users with appropriate lawyers.
Users can consult lawyers through audio and video calls directly from their devices and, if needed, arrange in-person meetings through scheduled appointments.
Beyond serving users, the platform also opens new avenues for lawyers, allowing both new and experienced professionals to build profiles, offer services online, and manage schedules more efficiently.
With digital services expanding across sectors in Bangladesh, stakeholders said such technology-based initiatives could help make legal assistance more accessible, faster, and transparent.
