Brahmanbaria-5’s ex-MP Fayzur Rahman Badal and reserved seat’s MP Tamanna Nusrat Bubly have been arrested.
Bubly is the wife of ex-Narsingdi Mayor Lokman Hossain.
They were detained in the capital on Sunday night, 28 September, by the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
The arrest was confirmed by Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of the Public Relations Division of DMP.
DB has not yet disclosed the details of arrest spot, and cases that are filed against them.
