His eight-year-old son, Maruf, died on Saturday, while his wife, Beauty Akhter, 22, succumbed to her injuries on Monday at the same institute.
Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon and assistant professor at National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, confirmed the deaths.

The explosion occurred around 7:15am on Friday at their rented tin-shed house in Bandar.
The deceased boy’s maternal uncle Md Roni said the blast occurred immediately after Maidul lit a cigarette inside the room in the morning. He added that family suspects the explosion was triggered by gas that had accumulated from a leakage in the house.
According to Roni, the family hailed from Lalpur upazila in Natore district. Beauty’s family home is in Omarpur village, while Maidul’s home is in Borobadkoya village under the same upazila. The young boy, Maruf, was a class-two student at a local primary school.
