The Election Commission (EC) is set to convene a crucial meeting with senior officials from the Home Ministry and law enforcement agencies on September 25 to discuss preparations for the 13th national parliamentary election.
This announcement was made by Senior Secretary of the EC Secretariat Akhtar Ahmed during a media briefing on Thursday afternoon. He confirmed that the first round of discussions will take place on September 15, where key strategies and security measures for the election will be outlined.
Furthermore, the EC plans to hold a second meeting with top officials from law and order forces, scheduled for 15 days before the formal announcement of the election schedule. This meeting aims to ensure effective coordination and preparedness for the election process.
