Dhaka University Metro Station will remain closed on Pohela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla New Year 1433.
Shahbagh Metro Station will also remain shut until 12pm on the same day (Tuesday).
The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) made the announcement in a press release issued on Monday.
The authority expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience and assured passengers that services will resume as usual after the scheduled closure.
The closure is part of operational adjustments during Pohela Baishakh celebrations in the capital.
