Dhaka North City Corporation and Janata Bank PLC signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday to provide fee and charge collection services and payroll processing for DNCC employees, the organisations said.
The agreement was signed on 27 January 2026 at the DNCC conference room by Dhaka North City Corporation Administrator Mohammad Ejaj and Janata Bank PLC ICT Division General Manager Mohammad Anis on behalf of their respective organisations.
Before the signing, DNCC Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Asaduzzaman and Janata Bank PLC Director of Business Mojibor Rahman delivered brief remarks.
Also present at the ceremony were Janata Bank’s Dhaka North divisional office General Manager Anishur Rahman Akand, Gulshan Circle-2 Corporate Branch Deputy General Manager Ferdausi Begum and officials from both institutions.
Under the pact, Janata Bank will support DNCC in collecting various fees and charges and in processing salaries and benefits for its workforce, aiming to improve revenue services and administrative efficiency.
