Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Tejgaon Division has arrested 110 people on charges of involvement in various crimes following special operations across different areas under the division in the capital.
The arrests were made on Tuesday during operations conducted in crime-prone areas under various police stations in Tejgaon Division.
The details were disclosed in a press release issued by the DMP on Wednesday.
According to the DMP, the arrestees include 31 under Tejgaon Police Station, six under Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, 45 under Mohammadpur Police Station, 20 under Adabor Police Station, three under Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station, and five under Hatirjheel Police Station.
In addition, a child in conflict with the law was also detained.
The DMP further said that the arrested individuals face allegations of involvement in various offences. Legal action has been taken against them following the operations, and the arrestees have been produced before the learned court.
