Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 370 people and filed 40 cases during its routine drive across the capital in the 24 hours leading up to Monday morning.
The DMP disclosed the information in a press release issued on Monday.
According to DMP, 91 people were arrested from Mirpur, 59 from Wari, 54 from Motijheel, 43 from Tejgaon, 34 from Ramna, 32 from Uttara, 31 from Gulshan, and 18 from Lalbagh.
The Detective Branch of DMP arrested eight more people during the operation.
Police recovered 16,283 Yaba pills, 1.32 kg of hemp, counterfeit notes, 22 mobile phones, 59 SIM cards, and a private car.
Furthermore, police rescued two victims during the operations.
The DMP said police arrested the individuals during raids across different police station areas in the capital while recovering narcotics.
Legal proceedings against the arrested individuals are underway.
