Dhallywood actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi has brushed aside speculation about a romance with Borbaad director Hridoy, saying she sees little reason to take rumours about her personal life seriously.
Speaking to reporters at a recent event, Dighi said she did not know who started the speculation or what prompted it. Unless she confirms something herself, she said, it remains hearsay.
“I don’t even know who spreads these rumours or what they are about. If I haven’t said anything myself, they remain rumours,” she said.
The actress added that speculation about celebrities comes with the territory in the entertainment industry. Rather than giving such talk unnecessary attention, she believes people should take it lightly.
