Two more deaths were reported from dengue in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning, bringing this year’s total fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 255 this year.
Of the new deaths, one was reported in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and another in Khulna division.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), during the period, 762 more patients were hospitalised with the viral fever, raising the total cases to 62,367 to date this year,
Of the new cases, 129 were recorded in Barishal division, 79 in Chattogram division, 170 in Dhaka division, 160 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), and 100 in DSCC
