One more dengue-related death was reported in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning, raising this year’s death toll from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh to 105, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the same period, 466 new patients were hospitalised, taking the total number of confirmed cases in 2025 to 26,378. The latest fatality was recorded in Dhaka South City Corporation.
Of the new cases, 74 were reported in Dhaka North City Corporation, 57 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 60 in Dhaka Division (outside the capital), 83 in Barishal Division, 60 in Chattogram Division, 66 in Rajshahi Division, 47 in Khulna Division, 8 in Mymensingh Division, 5 in Rangpur Division, and 6 in Sylhet Division.
At present, 1,262 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.
