Actress Deepa Khandakar has earned a special place in the hearts of viewers through her performances in a wide range of roles. At this stage of her career, she continues to choose projects based on their stories and characters.
However, a recent Facebook post by the actress has sparked curiosity among her fans and followers.
“Please forgive me if I have hurt anyone or affected anyone’s interests. I only want to live peacefully with what I deserve. May Allah help us all,” Deepa wrote.
The post has prompted various discussions, although the actress has not explained what led her to make the statement.
Since the beginning of her acting career, Deepa has prioritised strong stories and meaningful characters. She continues to receive offers for new projects and has recently acted in the drama Karmofol, written and directed by Mohin Khan.
In the drama, Deepa will appear in a challenging role that moves beyond conventional character types. Her co-star is AKM Hasan.
Deepa also recently drew renewed attention for playing the role of an aunt in Mohammad Mostofa Kamal Raj’s serial Eta Amaderi Golpo. The character received considerable appreciation from viewers.
She is now set to work in another serial directed by Raj. A press conference featuring the cast is scheduled to take place at a shooting house in Uttara, Dhaka, on Sunday afternoon, 6 September.
