A fire broke out in a coach of the Charminar Express near Aler railway station in Telangana’s Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Sunday.
Initial reports indicate that the blaze erupted in the S5 coach while the train was within Aler station limits, reports India Today.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not immediately known.
There was no official confirmation of any casualties or injuries at the time of reporting. Railway authorities are expected to release a detailed statement as more information becomes available.
