Cadet College Club Limited (CCCL) formally installed its newly elected Executive Committee for 2026 at a ceremony on Friday at the club premises in Purbachal, Dhaka, reinforcing its alumni engagement and leadership network.
General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladesh Army, attended as chief guest. Engineer Md Riaz-ul-Islam, chairman of the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK), was special guest, and Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman of Dhaka Bank PLC and the Bangladesh Association of Banks, was present as guest of honour.
The event was attended by former presidents, vice presidents and secretaries general of Cadet College Club, members of the outgoing 2025 and incoming 2026 executive committees and members of the College Representative Committee, along with a large gathering of distinguished guests. Senior officials from the Bangladesh Army, RAJUK and various banks were also present.
In remarks to the audience, the chief guest, special guest and guest of honour spoke on leadership, institutional values and the role of alumni-driven platforms in nation-building. Architect Ishtiaq Zahir Titas, president of Cadet College Club Limited, and Tahmina Rahman Anu, director of administration at the club, also addressed the gathering.
Squadron Leader Kaiser Sohel Ahmed (Retd), chairman of the club’s election commission, formally introduced the newly elected executive committee members. On behalf of Cadet College Club Limited, crests were presented to the chief guest, special guest and guest of honour by the club president.
About 1,600 members and their spouses attended the ceremony, contributing to a vibrant and memorable occasion. Dhaka Bank PLC played a key role in the successful organisation of the event through its generous support.
The installation marks a significant milestone in the club’s calendar and sets the stage for executive committee activities throughout 2026.
