Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) on Friday organised a tree-planting drive to enhance urban greenery and uphold its environmental commitment.

Held at the United Medical College premises along Madani Avenue, the event saw hundreds of fruit, medicinal, and timber seedlings planted around the campus and adjacent roads. Several rare and endangered species were also included as part of a planned afforestation effort.

The initiative received technical support from Torupallob, an environment-focused organisation. General Secretary Mokarram Hossain led the planting on behalf of Torupallob.
