The main installations and depots under the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) will remain open on public holidays to tackle the country’s fuel crisis and ensure a normal supply system.
BPC Secretary Shahina Sultana confirmed the matter through a press release on Thursday.
According to the notice, “Import activities/schedules from abroad are fixed to keep the supply of fuel oil normal in the country according to the demand of the people, and parcels are being brought into the country regularly.”
Moreover, fuel is being regularly sent from the main installation to all depots across the country via rail wagons and tankers for the benefit of dealers.
