Bangladesh Open University (BOU) has published the results of the SSC examination 2026, with a pass rate of 63.74 per cent.
The results were announced on Thursday at 12:30pm, with a total of 12,024 students appearing in the final examination, said a press release.
Of the 12,024 final-year candidates, 7,664 students passed. Among them, are 4,725 male and 2,939 female. A total of 30,816 students participated in the first and second-year examinations.
The results were published in 49 working days, which the university said marked a significant step away from previous delays in result publication.
BOU Vice-Chancellor Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan said the university continues to create second-chance education opportunities for those outside mainstream education. He said the university is working to ensure a modern, transparent and technology-based examination system.
