Bangladesh Open University (BOU) will begin its BA and BSS examinations for 2025 from Friday, simultaneously across the country at 288 centres in various government and private colleges and educational institutions.
A total of 2,47,013 candidates, 1,45,577 male and 1,01,436 female, will sit for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semesters.
As per the university schedule, exams will be held on Fridays and Saturdays, in morning and afternoon sessions, and will continue until 6 November 2026.
The authorities have taken necessary preparations to ensure a fair, peaceful and cheating-free environment, with local administration’s cooperation and BOU vigilance teams deployed at centres, said a press release on Thursday.
