Ahead of the 13th parliamentary election slated for 12 February, BNP has inaugurated a free Wi-Fi service for the residents of Korail Slum in Dhaka-17 constituency.
BNP Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir officially launched the digital campaign initiative on Friday.
During the inauguration, Humayun Kabir stated that thousands of people living in the Korail Slum will now be able to access the internet through this free service. He further mentioned that other areas within the constituency would be brought under this facility in a phased manner.
The BNP leader urged residents to elect BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, assuring that his election would ensure the development of living standards in the area. He also called upon the public to cast their votes for the “Sheaf of Paddy” symbol in the upcoming election scheduled for the 12th.
