BLACKPINK’s Lisa has been confirmed as the next headliner for Fortnite Festival, the rhythm-based spin-off of the popular game. Launching on November 29, the event allows players to swap weapons for instruments, performing solo or in bands with music from top artists.
Previous Festival collaborations have included Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Metallica and Sabrina Carpenter. Lisa’s appearance marks the first time a BLACKPINK member has joined Fortnite, though the group has partnered with Roblox, Animal Crossing, MapleStory, PUBG and released their own mobile game.
Lisa’s record label, LLOUD, confirmed the news on Instagram with key art. While Epic Games has yet to reveal full details, previous headline acts have introduced new tracks, outfits and emotes.
Lisa’s crossover comes amid Chapter 12 of Fortnite, which will also feature a ‘lost’ scene from Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 1. Earlier this year, she released her debut solo album ‘Alter Ego’.
